| For many classic Corvette buffs, a 1967 is the top pick of the C2 generation thanks to its refinement and several one-year-only features such as the louvered front fenders, the center-mounted back-up light and the console-mounted parking/emergency brake. Arguably (or not) the ultimate is a 67 with one of the optional 427 V8s hooked up to a 4-speed stick. We have just such a car here in this gorgeous 1967 427/390 roadster and this big block bruiser has it all -- looks, personality and condition. This car was treated to a nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration that was done to NCRS standards. Its arrow-straight body boasts a high-quality respray in the original Goodwood Green with a White hood stinger. This sharp C2 is further accented with its brilliant chrome and stainless-steel trim and Rally wheels wearing Goodyear whitewalls. And this is a Lasagna Car, meaning the underside is so immaculate that we'd eat our Sunday pasta off of it. The interior is every bit as nice as the body, as everything from the door panels to the dashtop to the real leather seating (with the rare optional headrests) looks factory fresh. We doubt we'd find much argument stating that the Saddle interior color looks great with the Goodwood Green exterior. Note that this is a two-top car, as it comes with the color-matched hard top as well as the white soft top. Under the hood is that all-numbers-matching 427/390-horsepower powertrain. That broad-shouldered big block sends all that power to the close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission and on out to the 3.36-geared Positraction rear end. That well-sorted powertrain starts, runs and shifts fantastic. Theres nothing quite like the roar of a 427 when you lean on it while running it up through the gears of the 4-speed.
