1947 Ford Super Coupe For sale is my Father's last ride. He was an avid collector of Cars and Car Shows. I took possession of it when I lost him July of 2009. My Dad was a pioneer of Drag racing in the 60's in his 10 second Hemi powered '57 Corvette and was a legend when he worked for NHRA and became a race director at Carlsbad Dragstrip and was one of the Original Flag Starters in Ramona's San Diego county raceway where I spent my childhood. This car was given an excellent frame off full restoration and has won many Car Show awards for perfection that Mr. Dean Hart of San Diego took years to restore this very straight True Hot Rod that was produced at the end of WWII. I have all the records and receipts of the build. The car is very comfortable and has power steering and power brakes and Cadillac leather seats for traveling with groups to different car runs. The car is powered by a balanced and blueprinted 400 Small Block Chevy bored .30 over with a RV cam and dual headers with a 2"-inch dual exhaust system. The Transmission is the Turbo 400 which is the strongest Transmission Chevrolet ever built. It is aspirated by a Holley 850 cfm double pumper carburetor. Has a Mallory ignition as well. I shared the love of classic cars with my Dad. I have many pictures of this car since I have taken it to many Cruise nights in Ramona and Escondido as my Dad and Mom did. His old friends love to see that I've taken great care of pride and joy since 2010 when I returned to take care of my Mother when he passed. This car I'm sure will be cherished by the next caretaker of it. I've included photographs of the builders records and any and all modifications. Serious inquiries only please. It's Hot rod season in sunny Southern California. The car is turnkey and has many extras that will go with including the fitted Beverly Hills car cover. No expense was spared keeping this car maintained and driven and is always stored inside. I'm meticulous about keeping this car in the same condition as my Dad did.
