| 1970 Ford Torino GT 429 Cobra Jet VIN: 0A38N167882 Selected as the Motor Trend Car of the Year, the second generation 1970 Ford Torino was a very successful car off the production line. Having participated in a Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour, the car was enhanced for drivability with 3.70 rear end gears. The current owner swapped out the “Top Loader” transmission for a TREMEC TKO 600, further enhancing it’s driving pleasure. Both the original 3.25 gears and 4 speed transmission are available with the car. The 429 Thunder Jet, original to the car (as verified by engine stamp matching the VIN, powers this car very well! Few of these cars survived the road (or their drivers) over the years, having been prone to hot rodding and rust issues.
