| 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Shoebox Restomod convertible. Incredible professional build with only 300 miles since completion. Show-stopper car with no expense spared. Hasnt been in a car show yet but could be a contender at any judged show! Powered by a fox body fuel-injected 5.0 V8 with HEI ignition, headers, dual exhaust and a march pulley system with chromed alternator and chromed valve covers. Power disc brakes and power steering as well. Its very showy under the hood. All backed by a 4-speed automatic, making it an easy to drive hot rod. The interior features all new butter-soft tan leather with matching tan powered convertible top and red leather parade boot. The car was built in Alberta but sent to the US for the interior and top. Were talking full custom bucket seats, console, with custom matching door panels and a custom carpet kit " all done tastefully and in a style that easily matches the early 50s era of the car. Below the dashboard is an aftermarket heater. Currently A/C is not installed, but we think the unit could do A/C as well. Power windows have been added to the car for convenience with the powered top. A tilt chromed steering column is topped with a grant steering wheel and chromed gear lever. All new digital gauges fit into the space of the original and give full readouts plus two small digital displays with all the info you could want. A matching new clock sits on top of the dash with a brand-new retro sound digital radio below it that looks original and factory but has a hidden digital screen and modern sound quality. The custom interior continues into the finishing of the trunk as well. Theres a hidden rear trunk lid release under the badging on the trunk lid. The paint is incredible, rich and very eye catching with no orange peel. The chrome is perfect and the car has a great look. Apart from the ride height and wheels, the exterior of the car is largely stock retaining most of its chrome, door handles, bumpers and trim, which is the current style of resto-modding. The bullet-nose styling is iconic! Chrome Ridler wheels fit the car well. Perfect to go the way it is or make a few changes to personalize it for yourself!
