 Click on the image for a larger picture. 1966 CHEVROLET 427 BIG BLOCK This 427 was purchased many years ago by the owner of a service station with plans of dropping it into one of his street/drag cars. That plan never came to fruition and when he retired and moved, he brought this a few other bits from his service station to his home. The engine has remained on the stand for well over 30 years. The numbers on this code out to a High Performance Corvette engine from 1966. It comes complete, as seen, with the heads, aluminum manifold and 427 marked M/T aluminum valve covers. The engine is stuck and will need to be rebuilt. However, if you're looking for a date correct 427 for that Corvette restoration, this is what you need.
