CONDITION
This 1957 Chevrolet Pickup is located in Baytown, Texas and shows 900 miles since restoration. It has been fully restored with a frame-off build on the original 1957 frame, featuring a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am front suspension, front coil-over shocks that allow adjustable ride height, and rear air shocks. Power comes from a 2003 GM LM7 5.3L Gen 3 LS that has been completely rebuilt with a Comp roller cam, paired with a 2001 4L60E 4-speed automatic that has been completely rebuilt with a 2,000"2,200 stall converter. The rear differential is a 1973 Chevy Camaro 10-bolt limited slip with 4.10 gears. It features Classic Instruments Tach Force series dash gauges, a 17-gallon fuel tank, chrome headers, and dual 2 1/2" exhaust with turbo mufflers. The doors are shaved and use electric door openers, with an emergency opener button hidden under the driver front fender and an emergency cable pull by the battery, and it is equipped with an electric emergency brake system. Finished in Wanda WA9260 Victory/Aggressive Red with a Matrix clear coat system, it was completely disassembled, rotisserie abrasive blasted, and repainted, with chrome and trim removed and replaced.
