Under the hood sits a brand new 502 cubic inch Ram Jet big block crate engine, delivering modern fuel-injected performance with unmistakable big block torque. Paired to a freshly built 700R4 automatic transmission, this Bel Air offers strong acceleration and comfortable overdrive highway cruising. Cooling is handled by a heavy-duty 4-row Matson radiator with dual electric fans, while fuel delivery comes from a 22-gallon Rick's stainless steel tank with an in-tank fuel pump. The engine bay is exceptionally detailed, showcasing the craftsmanship behind this six-figure build.
This Bel Air was completely stripped to bare metal before undergoing a body-off, ground-up restoration. It is finished in a deep PPG base coat/clear coat black paint that delivers a mirror-like shine in any lighting. Subtle body refinements enhance the factory lines without compromising the iconic 1957 silhouette. The gloss black powder-coated frame adds durability and a clean presentation underneath. The stance is aggressive yet refined, sitting on 20-inch Raceline wheels that modernize the look while maintaining the car's classic identity.
Inside, this Bel Air features a fully custom tan leather interior that blends classic styling with modern luxury. The seats, panels, and trim are beautifully finished, creating a warm contrast to the deep black exterior. Comfort and usability are enhanced with power windows and a Vintage Air air conditioning system. The dash retains its classic character with updated gauges, and modern entertainment is provided through an integrated iPod connection. A chrome IDIDIT steering column adds a refined custom touch.
The undercarriage reflects the same no-compromise philosophy as the rest of the build. Out back is a 4-link coilover suspension setup, dramatically improving handling and ride quality over factory leaf springs. A Chris Alston 9-inch rear end with 3.73 gears ensures durability and strong acceleration. Up front, power rack and pinion steering, polished stainless suspension arms, 2-inch drop spindles, and a sway bar provide precise road feel. Massive Wilwood 14-inch 6-piston power disc brakes on all four corners deliver modern stopping performance to match the 502 big block power.
