This stunning 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is a true Norwood-built Z/28 now available at LaFontaine Classic Cars. This Z/28 has undergone a full restoration and now wears a brilliant coat of Hugger Orange that perfectly complements its aggressive stance. Under the hood lies a 383c.i. Stroker V8 built with performance and reliability in mind. It features Weisco pistons (11.1 compression) Eagle H-beam rods and crank Liberty heads and a hydraulic roller camshaft. Feeding the beast is a Holley Brawler 750 CFM carb atop an RPM Air Gap intake manifold while a CVF serpentine front drive system aluminum water pump and dual electric fans keep everything cool. Add in MSD ignition with rev limiter Pro Billet distributor and Vintage Air A/C and you've got a show-stopper with modern drivability.
The powertrain is dialed in for both performance and cruising comfort. Backing the stout V8 is a TH350 automatic transmission paired with a 12-bolt Posi rear end end spinning 3.90 gears. Cragar SS wheels wrapped in 225/50/17 front and 255/50/17 rear tires complete the muscle car look while adding modern grip and stability. Power steering and power disc brakes greatly add to the drivability whether you're carving through corners or cruising to a car show.
