This is the real thing a factory 1968 Shelby GT500 Convertible, finished in its original Acapulco Blue over Black Dcor Bucket Seats , and backed by strong documentation including a Deluxe Marti Report. One of just 231 cars painted this color and 1 of 893 with a white power convertible top , this rare GT500 was delivered new to Warren Anderson Ford in Riverside, California , where it remained a rust-free West Coast car its entire life. Today, it shows just 41,244 actual miles , retaining its original charm while being subtly upgraded with tasteful performance enhancements.
Under the hood, the original 428 Cobra Jet has been massaged with a high-performance cam and lifters , aluminum cylinder heads , an Edelbrock aluminum intake , and a Holley double pumper carburetor .
