1933 BSA Deluxe TW-10 Trike
This 1933 BSA Deluxe TW-10 Trike is a rare gem in the U.S., with only a handful known to exist in the country. It's a rust-free, unmolested original that recently underwent a meticulous two-year restoration. The aluminum body, with steel fenders and cowl, was refinished in high-quality PPG paint, and the interior was reupholstered to match. Nearly every component has been replaced or rebuilt, including all wiring, instruments, ignition parts, an Optima battery, electric fan, alloy 3.9-gallon fuel tank, hoses, valves, and all four tires and tubes. The alternator is a modern conversion, while key original components such as the radiator, clutch, Solex carburetor, starter, and trans-axle brake have been professionally restored. This Deluxe model features a four-cylinder engine with a 3-speed H-pattern transmission and leaf spring suspension with friction chocks. During bodywork, a stenciled marking revealed the trikes past use by the British Civil Defense Service, prompting a military theme with camo wrap and signageeasily removable with a heat gun. Parts support is available through the BSA Front Wheel Drive Club in England. The sale includes a shop manual, illustrated factory parts book, 30 BSA Club magazines, British flags, whip, clean California title and original British alloy plates.
It is a rare British antique vehicle that doesn't go fast and it doesn't stop fast (top speed of approx 55 mph). Best use of this car is for close-to-home rides, parades, and car shows. Just completed restoration, factory new in appearance, and ready to show. It is a true crowd pleaser and gathers more interest than anything around it. It has a clean and current California title and license plates, along with the original 1933 thick alloy British license plates shown. A very unique, rarely seen vehicle that would make a great addition to any car collection.
