The body features arrow-straight panels along with vibrant red paint that's accented with brilliant chrome and stainless-steel trim. A set of steelies wearing dog dish hubcaps and BF Goodrich Radial T/As provide the perfect punctuation mark for this dynamite Dart. Inside, it's as if you stepped into the 1967 Dart brochure as everything from the headliner to the carpet and door panels is in excellent condition. The restored interior features white high-quality Legendary factory-correct upholstery. And rather than a boring bench seat this Dart has the bucket seats and console with a Hurst factory-style shifter. Even the original AM radio still resides in the dash. Under the hood, rather than a 273 V8 (the largest available in '67), this Dart GT features a nicely built, NOM 340 V8 with an X block and heads, a Mopar Purple Shaft cam, an Edelbrock intake with Brawler carb, a set of Doug's headers and a dual exhaust system with an X-pipe crossover and Flow-Masters. The factory 4-Speed manual transmission sends the power to the 8 3/4 rear end with its 3.91 Sure-Grip differential. Sub-frame connectors beef up the chassis to handle the added power while manual steering and manual front disc brakes make for an engaging drive. Underway, this car is simply a blast, as running through the gears with that high-spirited 340 singing its song never gets old.
