1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS Pro-Touring Resto-mod. This is one serious build done by Paradise Garage in Lloydminster AB. Everything on this car has been modified for performance, speed or the right look. Lets start with the LS 376 (6.2 liter) GM racing crate under the hood matched up to a Tremec T56 Super Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. Topping it of is fuel injection of course along with headers and loads of billet and chrome accessories. All together it makes 525 hp and puts the power down well through 17 magnum rims and Nitto tires. Theres a Moser Muslce pak 12-bolt Posi rear axles and Ridetech coil overs and tubular control arms. Wilwood disc brakes bring things to a stop in a hurry. This is a very modern powertrain that means serious business. You wont find this one riding or driving like an original 68 at all, its like driving a new Camaro. The paint is absolutely gorgeous. The blue is color is captivating and flawless, and the white stripes are laid perfectly. A small cowl hood has been added and looks great. Electronic opening RS headlight doors work as they should. There are dual chrome mirrors, a chin spoiler in black and a rear trunk spoiler painted to match. The chrome is all brand new. In the trunk is a custom molded stereo enclosure that holds tweeters and mid-range speakers in the trunk lid, and then two huge Rockford Fosgate subs on the floor. Dual batteries and all of the wiring in the back is very neat and organized. The interior is all brand new with TMI custom bucket seats in black, suede, houndstooth checker inserts and blue stitching to match the exterior. A nice billet tilt steering column and wood steering wheel have been added. The headliner is Alcantara, and theres power windows now. A brand-new dash pad sits on top of a painted to match dashboard featuring All new digital gauges that light up in blue to match the theme of the car. There are also the accessory gauges in the center console. A Retro sound Long Beach head unit has been installed with Bluetooth and USB and sounds killer with the Rockford Fosgate system in the trunk. Everything in the interior is flawless down to the carpets and custom floor mats. The underside of the car is just as impressive as the top and no expense has been spared putting this amazing ride together. The odometer reads 2000 miles since the build was completed.
