Alpina has been associated with BMW for nearly 50 years, working with the Bavarian automaker to produce elevated cars based on existing BMW designs. For the 2021 model year, BMW's full-size G07 X7 SUV received the Alpina treatment. The X7 M50i's 4.4-liter V-8 gained larger twin-scroll turbochargers, additional cooling capacity, a less-restrictive exhaust, and an ECU upgrade. Developing 612 hp and 590 lbs./ft. of torque, the engine was mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with a recalibrated electronically variable limited-slip differential on the rear axle. Other changes included revised suspension tuning, Alpina "Turbine" wheels, and distinguishing cosmetic trim.
This 2021 BMW Alpina XB7 is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a Black Full Merino leather interior.
