1978 Pontiac Firebird Esprit Formula. Very original car with what appears to be one repaint decades ago in the factory blue color. Our first Esprit Formula at our dealership, you just dont see these ones around much! Overall, a very nice car thats largely original! Pontiac 400 V8 4-bbl under the hood with a TH350 behind it. Power steering and power brakes with discs up front. Engine bay is very neat and tidy and the motor itself still in Pontiac blue! Original factory intake and carb, in fact everything under the hood appears to still be stock. Paint on the car is still very handsome. Stripes and decals have some age, but still in good condition. Car is very solid with no corrosion, holes or patched floors. Factory Rally wheels still in place with raised white letter tires. Hood scoops are non-functional but look good. Interior appears to be stock and factory original with the odd item here or there repaired or replaced as necessary. We believe the upholstery is factory. The rear deck sports not just two, but 4 aftermarket speakers including a pair of Sanyos. Dash and steering wheel are handsome with simulated wood trim. Car has full gauges, although the tachometer is stuck at the moment (will be repaired). Odomter reads 1400 miles, so likely thats 101,400, but with only 5 digits, true milage is unconfirmed. Heater is in working order and the car has optional rear defrost. A modern Sony CD player is in place of the original unit. The dashboard is crack free. The trunk still sports its original trunk mat and space saver tire thats never been used! Pretty straight car here with a good color and a model you just dont see around much anymore!
