Owned by the original purchaser until our acquisition in late 2023, this 1970 Plymouth Fury III Convertible is accompanied by a copy of the original order form issued on September 25, 1969 by Kingston Dodge Chrysler Ltd., confirming factory options and terms. Among them were the 350-horsepower 440 cubic-inch V-8 engine, Torquefilte 3-speed automatic transmission, power brakes with front discs, power steering, power windows, 3.23:1 Sure-Grip rear axle, front bucket seats, radio, rear speaker, light delay timer, tachometer, hood-mounted turn-signal indicators, remote outside mirror, and Plymouth Road Wheels mounting H70x15 Goodyear Polyglas tires, for a total pre-tax price of $6,060 – converted to approximately $49,000 in 2023 dollars.
A complete restoration of this Fury III Convertible was competed in 2014, with invoices on file confirming the work performed.
