1972 Dodge Demon. According to the fender tag and VIN, this is a true Demon with a 340-4bbl. To the best of our knowledge the engine is numbers matching to the car. The car originally came with an automatic (D34) but now sports a 4-speed manual transmission. Wearing white paint now with a flat black hood, but originally the car was B5 Blue with a Black Full Vinyl top (V1X), black transverse stripes (V8X) and black longitudinal stripes (V6X). Other factory equipment included: F6X9: Trim - Luxury, Vinyl Bucket Seats, Black TX9: Black Diamond Int. Door Frames I: International (export) Specifications, A88: Interior Decor Group, C16: Console w/Woodgrain Panel, C56: Bucket Seats, G36: OS Dual Racing Mirrors, M21: Roof drip rail moldings, M43: Grille Trim Moldings, N23: Electronic Ignition System, N41: Dual Exhaust, N42: Chrome Exhaust Tips, R11:Radio Solid State AM (2 Watts). It appears the currently the only thing missing from the interior is the hard-to-find woodgrain center console. Very nice interior with a mix of new and factory pieces. Carpets and seat covers are new, but dashboard appears to be original. A couple of aftermarket gauges hang below the dash, and theres a tach added to the steering column and an aftermarket wood rimmed steering wheel. The car was not ordered with hood scoops, but a set off of a 71 are in the trunk ready to be painted and installed to improve the look if the next owner wants. Hood pins have been added, and the hood has been painted mat black to and give the car a nice look. Trunk is not body color but is in excellent shape. Under the hood, the only modifications appear to be chromed valve covers. Dual exhaust is correct, but chromed tips are missing. Car is in driver quality condition, perfect for taking to any cars and coffee, but certainly to trailer queen. Use it just as it is, or the perfect foundation for a complete restoration. Currently the car shows 38,000 miles, but with a 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown.
