Description: This 1965 Ford Mustang coupe was specified through the Indianapolis District Sales Office with Rangoon Red paintwork, a color-coordinated interior, and a 200ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Built in March 1965, the car is claimed to have been on display at a museum for an extended period, and it now show just over 5,800 miles.
Interior: The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in red vinyl. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer flanked by fuel-level and water-temperature gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 5,805 miles.
Exterior: The car is finished in Rangoon Red with chrome bumpers. The 13 steel wheels wear full covers and are mounted with Uniroyal tires. Braking is handled by front and rear drums.
Drivetrain: The car was specified with a three-speed manual transmission and a 3.20 conventional axle. The 200ci inline-six was factory rated at 120 horsepower.
