This exceptional 1964 Porsche 356 Sunroof Coupe is a true “Gentleman’s Outlaw” and one of the finest examples in existence. Hand-crafted by renowned Porsche 356 authority Ronald Roland—author of Restored by Hand—this build represents a no-compromise, 25-year pursuit of perfection, completed in 2025 with fewer than 100 test miles.
Finished in stunning Porsche Dark Iris Pearl over a luxurious Cork leather interior by Autos International, this 356 blends timeless design with tasteful modern upgrades. The body was stripped to bare metal, sculpted laser straight, and subtly enhanced with widened rear quarters, shaved trim, custom mirrors, LED lighting, and chromed widened factory wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires.
Power comes from the original matching-numbers flat-four engine, rebuilt by Vic Skirmants of 356 Enterprises and upgraded from 1600cc to 1720cc. Paired with a rebuilt 4-speed manual and custom exhaust, the car delivers an incredible driving experience with beautiful sound and crisp performance. Converted to 12-volt with modern ignition, it starts easily and runs flawlessly.
Originally delivered new to Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, Florida, this 356 has remarkable provenance and history. MS CLASSIC CARS acquired the car directly from its longtime owner in 2025 and invested over $25,000 to elevate it to the highest level. January 2026 marks the first time this car has ever been publicly offered for sale.
