1988 Chevrolet C/10 Suburban. Super cool wagon with a lot going on! To begin with, this is a US truck originally from Tucson Arizona, hence the patina on the original paint and lack of rust anywhere. Yep, factory paint, but the entire truck has been re-clear-coated preserving the fantastic patina on the hood, roof and upper sides. Lowering was done using different springs up front and a flip kit and blocks out back. Now with new tires and matching wheels, the stance and look are just right. Despite quite a drop, this big rig still rides very well. This is quite the loaded unit. Barn doors on the back, 3 rows of seating in cloth, and buckets and a console up front. This is also the deluxe interior meaning the trim, door panels and dash are just a bit more dressed up. Rare to see, but this one also has the factory rear 3 rd row overhead air conditioning unit mounted to the roof, along with factory a/c up front. Theres power windows, power locks, power steering and power brakes, tilt wheel and cruise control. Lots of dollars spent on the interior, with a new headliner front to back (Alcantara style) and new carpets in the first two rows. The rear of the truck factory rug is still perfect. Seats upholstery appears to be factory as well however the 2 nd row has a few minor rips in the seat bottoms, probably from doing a bit of hauling before this became a collectible truck. Out back is a MASSIVE stereo system with 4 huge 12 subs in a custom box enclosure that occupies the trunk space from the rear doors to the back of the 3 rd row of seats. Amplifiers and all the rest of the hardware hide behind the seatback. Front seat lower kick panels house the front speakers from the system. Recent Audio Tuning work has just been completed at Audio Warehouse in Saskatoon, with the system sounding great and commanded by a Retro sound in dash unit up front in the factory radio spot. The truck is powered by what appears to be its factory 350 V8 with a rebuilt 4-bbl Quadra jet on top. Behind that is a 700 R4 4-speed Auto. Apart from the missing inner fenders to accommodate the lowering, the Suburban is stock under the hood. The odometer shows 18,000 miles, but thats likely 118,000. With only 5 digits, true milage cant be confirmed. It runs and drives very well. Killer looks, and haul the whole family with great tunes!
