1969 Ford Mustang Grande 2-dr Hardtop Coupe. Badged as a GT, but thanks to the Marti Report, we know this is in fact a Mustang Grande! Built at the San Jose plant and sold new to the B7 Pacific Canada Sales district when new at Brown Bros. Motors on Granville Street in Vancouver. This is an H code car with a NUMBERS MATCHING 351-2V-V8 backed by a FMX select shift 3-speed Automatic with a 2.75 conventional rear end axle. The report shows P-code paint, and it appears to be restored to its correct Winter Blue paint. When it was new it sported blue cloth/vinyl Grande buckets seats. Since then, the interior has been changed to black, with comfortable TMI bucket seats up front, and the rear bench stitched to match. Other factory equipment included the Visibility group (left hand remote mirror, glove box light, luggage compartment light, ash tray light, locking glove box, parking brake warning light, under dash courtesy lights and lighted ignition switch), E78x14 wide oval white sidewall tires, Power front disc brakes, power steering, AM radio and Deluxe seat belts with warning lights. Now this Mustang is a combination of a lot of great options all put together in a very attractive package! A shaker hood with correct scoop, black-out treatment and hood pins has been swapped in along with a lower front air dam. Craigars SS wheels and white letter tires are period correct too. A body-colored passenger side mirror has been added, and a few extra badges here and there dress it up. Out back a mat-black spoiler has been added to the trunk, and quad tailpipes poke out just below the rear bumper. GT stripes have also been added to the side of the car. The paint is very nice. Lots of gloss and is blemish free. Moving inside youll find custom door sill plates with illuminated horse silhouette, TMI black vinyl bucket seats with blue stitching to match the exterior. The back seat has also been upholstered to coordinate. A well-fitting aftermarket Classic Console with cup holders and armrest sitting between the front seats makes the driving position very comfortable. The headliner and carpets are clearly new, and the door panels and dash are in very good condition. The clock sits in the passenger dashboard section and theres wood veneer on the dash and door panels, again in nice shape. Gauges are original, and an aftermarket tach has been added. The trunk compartment is also finished off nicely, and the spare tire is in place. Lots of attention do detail under the hood including reproduction stickers and great paint work along with chromed tower braces and valve covers. The original engine has been refreshed balancing originality and performance updates. A new Holley 4-bbl has been added along with MSD ignition and dual cutout exhaust for some extra sound on demand! Its been dyno tested at 273 HP and 361 lb-ft of torque. Suspension has also been refreshed with new pieces and bushings as needed. Very clean and very drivable! The previous owner built the car to be a strong road-worthy driver, capable of road trips, solid performance and great looks. We think this car checks all the boxes. Ready to roll! 69,000 miles on the odometer, but with only 5-digits, true milage cannot be proven.
