We purchased the car locally from a gentleman in Carmel, CA. The vehicle is beautiful inside and out and comes with extensive maintenance completed within the last 5,000 miles, spare parts, all of its books, and more. The exterior is finished in Black (L741) with a beautiful Black leather interior (UD) a timeless color combination you can t go wrong with. The interior is in great condition with no signs of excessive wear. The exterior is also in excellent condition, with deep and glossy paint. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six engine paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Recent Service & Maintenance The car has received extensive recent maintenance with many common 993 Turbo service items addressed. Work included servicing drivetrain components, refreshing suspension parts, and performing general maintenance. Recent work includes replacing the timing cover gaskets, along with upgraded seals and washers, and repairing a timing cover stud with a Time-Sert insert. The upper and lower valve cover gaskets were also replaced, and the car was upgraded with Rennline billet lower valve covers with cooling fins. Additional engine-related work included replacing the heat exchanger gaskets, installing new Bosch spark plugs, replacing the turbo oil line, and replacing the left intercooler pipe. The car also received a fresh oil and filter service using Motul 300V engine oil. The front differential was serviced, with new output shaft seals installed. The front axle was rebuilt, including new CV boots, clamps, and hardware. The transmission was also serviced with fresh gear oil. Suspension service included replacing the front and rear shock absorbers, installing new suspension hardware, and performing a wheel alignment. Brake service included a brake fluid flush using ATE Type 200 fluid. General maintenance items included replacing the Mahle air filter, replacing the fan duct, and installing a new DME relay, with a spare relay placed in the glovebox. The car was also upgraded with an FD Motorsports short shifter and a Porsche Classic radio. After the work was completed, the car was road tested and boost was verified at approximately 0.8 bar, confirming proper turbocharger operation. Driving Impressions The ride is smooth and sporty, and the car handles like it s on rails. The motor is very healthy, sounds great, and has plenty of power.
