Under the hood sits the numbers-matching 327/350 horsepower L79 V8 engine. The block (3782870) and cylinder heads (3782461) feature early January 1965 casting dates correct for an L79 application. Further reinforcing its authenticity the engine is topped with the correct Winters aluminum intake manifold (3844461) paired to a proper Holley 3849804 List 2818-1 four-barrel carburetor. Delco-Remy components include the distributor (111196) a Delco starter and a Delco alternator dated March 1 1965 all consistent with the cars production timeline.
Shifting duties are handled by a correct Muncie 4-speed manual transmission while power is delivered to a 3.55 Positraction rear end coded AN and dated March 1965 correct to the vehicle.
