This restoration is truly exceptional. It would be difficult to find another 1978 Corvette offered for sale in this level of condition. The body, paint, engine, and chassis all present as new. An enormous amount of care, passion, and investment went into this build before the restorer elevated it even further by creating a highly detailed Indy Pace Car Tribute.
The car features all the visual and performance elements of the original pace car with the exception of the silver leather interior. Instead, it is finished with a black leather interior, a choice many enthusiasts prefer. The interior presents as new and shows no signs of use.
The engine bay is outstanding and appears factory correct at first glance, though the engine was professionally rebuilt to L82 specifications. This upgrade adds both desirability and performance while maintaining a stock appearance. The level of detail under the hood reflects the dedication and craftsmanship behind the restoration.
Inside, the car continues to impress. The interior is like new throughout and includes a Kenwood Bluetooth audio system, T-Tops, power everything with original factory A/C set-up, minus some parts, and is currently not installed to enhance performance while preserving that classic feel. The dash, console, seats, and carpeting are all new, resulting in a flawless presentation.
The body and paint are nearly flawless and beyond factory standards. As part of the Indy Pace Car Tribute, the previous owner chose not to install the door decals, allowing the paintwork to remain uninterrupted. The decals are included with the car should the next owner wish to install them. Seeing this Corvette in person truly highlights the quality of the finish and overall restoration.
The underside is as clean and impressive as the exterior. It is incredibly tidy and reflects a thorough nut and bolt restoration. Combined with the passion behind the build, this Corvette stands apart as a rare opportunity to own an example that will be extremely difficult to duplicate.
