It was originally delivered by Howard Pontiac Inc. on December 11th, 1970, to its first owner, George R. Ballard. According to extensive documentation, the car was initially ordered by the dealership on June 11th, 1970, but lingered on the showroom floor for several months. Ultimately, it was sold at cost to Mr. Ballard, who paid cash to take delivery-a fascinating and rare insight into the car's early life.
