This Jerry MacNeish Certified 1969 Camaro Z/28 retains its complete factory-installed driveline, including its original engine and stamping, Muncie M20 transmission with VIN stamping, and 3.73 Positraction BU-code 12-bolt rear differential. MacNeish also certifies that the trim tag on this Z/28 is real and authentic.
Finished in Hugger Orange with white Z/28 stripes and a black vinyl interior, just as it left the factory, this Z/28 is the recipient of a rotisserie restoration expected to be completed by Joe Verrillo and his team at Verrillo Motor Car in Clifton Park, NY by June 2026.
This Z/28 retains all of its factory-installed body panels. The vehicle has been completely disassembled, and the body was placed on a rotisserie for reconditioning. All body panels have been aligned to better-than-factory fitment. A basecoat/clearcoat finish has been applied, and cut and polished to a show-quality finish.
The floors are finished in GM restoration frame paint for an authentic sheen, replicating the factory appearance as closely as possible. They also feature a light mist of Hugger Orange, as seen on factory-applied finishes. The floor plugs have been installed with the correct beige seam sealer, as original.
The subframe was completely disassembled and refinished in the correct semi-gloss black. All chassis components have been fully disassembled, cleaned, glass-beaded, and finished in their correct factory finishes. The front control arms are finished in 30% gloss black, while the front springs retain a natural steel finish, and the shocks are finished in gray phosphate. All steering components are also finished in natural steel. The rear differential is finished in a 60% gloss black.
This car retains the factory-installed original engine.
