1983 Honda CB1100F
VIN: SC1107DM004170
From the mid-80's “end of the naked bike” collection, the CB1100F was Honda's final expression of the Universal Japanese Motorcycle” inline four cylinder era pioneered by it's iconic CB750K in 1969, before engines disappeared beneath yards of plastic fairing.
The CB1100F was a one year only offering; consequently it is a fairly rare motorcycle. Featuring a water cooled double overhead cam four valve per cylinder power plant it was designed to set a new bar of performance, and with quarter mile times in the low 11's and a top speed in the mid-140's it was the hottest thing on two wheels in the superbike universe.
The example you see here was purchased by the current owner in 2012 with 29,725 miles on the odometer, and immediately received a full service and the rear tire replaced to insure that all systems were in proper working order. It has been carefully maintained and sparingly ridden less than 500 miles since, and the odometer currently shows only 30,215 miles.
