1966 Triumph Bonneville Custom
VIN:
The bike you see here is an exquisitely crafted and faithfully executed example of the period British custom that was popular back in the 1960's. The motor, complete with dual carbs and 4 speed, is from a 1970 Bonneville, and is housed in a 1966 Bonneville frame. This re-creation is full of custom accessories that were popular back then, such as the oil tank, the custom exhaust, and the bobbed fender. The paint color is a warm vanilla cream, complete with tastefully embellished burgundy accents that perfectly match the cover of the super comfortable 40's era English sprung saddle riding seat. The overall styling scheme is balanced and pleasing to the eye, while retaining a comfortable ride and reliable mechanicals.
This custom Bonneville was purchased by the current owner in 2010, and was then taken to Triumph specialist Steve Bunyard for a complete service and reconditioning that included a clutch rebuild and new brakes. It has been carefully maintained since, and has been ridden less than 600 trouble free miles since purchase.
If you want to stand out from the crowd, you won't find a more unique ride than this one of a kind Triumph Bonneville Custom.
It would be difficult to come up with comps for a custom Bonneville as unique as this one.
