1937 Chevrolet pickup truck (with a 1938 front end). This street rod features a 350 small block engine bored 30 over to 355 cubic inches, paired with a Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission, power steering, Holley four-barrel carburetor, a high-rise Weiand intake manifold and headers. The automatic transmission is shifted via a floor mounted long stick. Featuring customizations such as unique door painting, stack exhaust, and a custom bumper. The chassis is heavily modified with a boxed frame, Mustang II independent front suspension, four-link coilover rear suspension, and a Ford 9-inch rear end with positraction. The bed floor of the truck is specially designed to tilt, made with repurposed wood from Lake Superior docks, adding a unique historical touch. Lighting is customizable via toggle switches inside the cab, controlling under-bed, engine bay, and cab lights. The truck has been driven approximately 13,000 miles since its build and has won multiple trophies at car shows. The interior is tastefully customized with a saddle vinyl bench seat, tilt steering column, and functional Dolphin gauges. It also includes modern conveniences like a stereo inside the glove box and working wipers. There is a battery disconnect switch inside the cab, on the firewall in front of the passenger. Riding on red steel wheels with radial tires. The exhaust system features stacks behind the cab, producing a distinctive sound, and complemented by an air horn. On the road, plenty of power and easy to drive.
