This 1941 Willys Coupe Replica is a custom package from Outlaw Performance that was completed in 1994. It is a well thought-out and meticulously built street-legal 'Pro Street ' machine. The coupe is finished in 2-stage Atomic Orange and is accented by Badnilk polished aluminum wheels that mount BFGoodrich performance radials. The inviting high-grade crme vinyl interior is well designed with comfortable bucket seats and a purposeful dash that holds a full complement of Dolphin Instruments gauges and premium AM/FM audio system. Other features include a Sanden A/C system, power tinted windows, keyless door poppers and custom tilt wheel - this Willys is top-shelf.
Blown 468ci Beck Racing Big Block w/Turbo 400 Transmission-
Horsepower is furnished by a 4-bolt big-block Chevy built by Beck Racing Engines. The displacement is 468ci and it is equipped with a polished BDS 8-71 blower and dual Holley double-pumper carburetors. Internals include Scat forged crank, BRE forged rods, Keith Black pistons and Clevite bearings. Dart Pro1 aluminum heads with bronze guides (2.25/1.90) are paired with a hydraulic Crane Cam and lifters. This is a very serious engine. Dyno sheets furnished by Beck Racing show 900+ horsepower and 810lb/ft of torque. Cooling is provided by a heavy-duty radiator with electric fan and exhaust is routed through tube headers to a polished stainless system. A 2,500-stall convertor transfers torque to a race built GM Turbo-400 3-speed automatic and Ford 9" posi-traction differential and 4.11:1 gears. The spotless custom chassis is equipped with rack/pinion power steering, tubular A-arms and coil-over front suspension. Rear suspension is multi-link with coil-over shocks. Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes.
