1989 Lamborghini Countach 25TH Anniversary Edition Coupe

Description:

Clean CARFAX® 1 of approximately 200 25th Anniversary Editions produced with fuel injection for the North American markets Documented $76,000 engine-out service by marque expert Evans Automotive Repair of Ohio in 2013 Transmission disassembled and resealed, clutch replaced, and air-conditioning system rebuilt by Evans Automotive Repair Finished in the iconic color of Bianco (white) over a Bone leather interior Highly desirable 25th Anniversary Edition; A quintessential icon of speed Since its official establishment in 1963, the Lamborghini nameplate has carried a sort of allure and flamboyant excellence that has driven the company to the very top of the luxury sports car market. First making his mark with the 350 GTV a year after his debut, company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini would waste no time by releasing an all-new revolutionary model in 1966 known as the Miura. It became the first production supercar with a rear mid-engine two-seat layout and became the fastest production road car the world had seen. The layout would become the gold standard for almost all high-performance sports and supercars to be the blueprint for Lamborghini's near-future success. The Miura gave the raging bull traction in the market, but it was in 1974 when the Countach was released from the companys Italian stable and refined the Lamborghini name, giving the marque a famous edge that consisted of wild styling and equally impressive performance. The Countach would go through five different distant variations during its 16-year production run, and the last and final version in 1989 and 1990 would be the most aggressive and aesthetically pleasing form the world had seen. Hailing from the second to last year of production and the mind of the famed engineer Horacio Pagani, comes this clean CARFAX 1989 25th Anniversary Edition Lamborghini Countach. With just 46,823 km (29,094 miles) showing on the odometer, the Bianco white paint over the Bone leather trimmed cockpit present in good overall condition. First introduced in 1988 to celebrate the company's milestone achievement, the 25th Anniversary Edition Countach was offered for two years and a total of just 657 left the factory. It was a vehicle that stated Lamborghini cared as much about design as it did boundary-pushing performance. Visually this 25th Anniversary Edition example has an aggressive rear spoiler, OZ wheels, razor sharp aero dynamic body lines, and a 25th Anniversary steering wheel. Comforts include air-conditioning, power windows, power adjustable seats, and an Alpine stereo unit. Remembering the performance side on the final model of the Countach, this coveted breed became a supercar in the truest sense of the word, mixing a bold look with equally impressive performance, boasting a powerful V-12 engine thats backed by a thrilling five-speed manual transaxle. Like the vehicles design, its V-12 power plant was upgraded over time. The first model had a 4.0-litre engine that produced 370 horsepower and 270 lbs.-ft of torque; while this model, the most refined version, is equipped with a 5.2-litre fuel-injected engine that yields 455 horses and 370 lbs.-ft of thrilling tire melting twist. A fuel-injected variant, its one of approximately 25th Anniversary Editions produced for the North American Markets. Most importantly this rare Countach had a documented, $76,000 engine out servicing by one of the best in business in 2013, marque expert Evans Automotive Repair in Columbus, Ohio. The major overhaul also included the transmission to be disassembled and resealed, the clutch was replaced, the air-conditioning system was rebuilt, and the electrical system was addressed. Accompanying the sale of this Countach is, of course, a clean CARFAX® report reflecting accident-free life and ownership history, a file of invoice records from Evans Automotive Repair, and an Ruote O.Z. spare wheel. With thousands of known languages across the globe, Ferruccio Lamborghini managed to find a universal way to unify them all with the Countach. It stirs passions like almost no other Italian car. Today, it impresses onlookers with the same sense of awe that it did when first produced. Only 657 Anniversary Editions were built, ensuring this example, finished in iconic colors, will never lose its dramatic appeal or important place in automotive history. This 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary is located in Auburn, Indiana, which is centrally located and within a few hours by car from Indianapolis, Indiana; Detroit, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; and Cleveland, Ohio.
