1972 F100 Ranger XLT Reg Cab Long Box. One incredible SURVIVOR still wearing factory paint, all original interior and owned by just one family! The build sheet, original licensing documents, 1972 first issued Alberta license plates and owners manual package come with the truck too, along with a great collection of family photos with the truck over the years! Bought new by John Wilk on May 27 th, 1972, from Universal Sales in Calgary, the truck traded hands to his son Gerry. Gerry and his wife, travelled across Canada and the USA in it through the 70s and 80s sporting a truck box camper! We got the truck from Gerrys wife. It was sitting in the same garage its lived in for decades unchanged all those years with no modifications. Still wearing white wall tires and factory wheel covers, still sporting the bug deflector, and vintage aftermarket AM/ 8-track radio and vintage Calgary Stampeders Bumper sticker and Universal Mercury-Lincoln Dealership sticker still on the back tailgate. Under the hood is the original 360 V8 with a 3-speed automatic with power steering and power front disc brakes. The odometer shows 56,000 miles, but its unknown with 5 digits if its ever rolled over. The two-tone paint has just been renewed thanks to a professional polish revealing just how beautiful the truck still is! Being a Ranger XLT, this has the deluxe wood grain trim and woodgrain tailgate panel plus bright fender edge guards, lower rocker garnish, bright drip moldings, windshield molding and sliding rear window. The truck was ordered with dual fuel tanks, passenger side bedside toolbox and tow mirrors. The lower portion of the inside of the box was resprayed at one point, but the rest of the paint is factory original. The deluxe interior is still a very nice place to spend time with wood grain door panels, and once again, all very factory original with very little wear and tear. Just a portion of the drivers seat has some fabric issues along with the drivers door arm rest " typical for any vehicle this old. The dash is in nice shape, and the gauges are all working! The deluxe headliner still flawless. The truck runs and drives very well. It was clearly loved and cherished its entire life. Its awaiting its next family to take care of it for many more decades!
