It was ordered through the Atlanta DSO Built at Ford's Norfolk Assembly Plant and sold new by Kirby Ford Sales in Fort Payne Alabama.
This is a great example of an incredibly well-maintained survivor. The interior remains original and is in great condition! Even the original Philco AM radio plays!
Under the hood boasts the original and freshly serviced 360c. i. V8 that still wears the original born with valve covers and matching air cleaner with 75' assembly line inspection markings and stickers! Adding to the drivability are factory disc brakes power steering and factory A/C! (R134)
The underside of this truck is rock solid! Regular consumables have been replaced over the years but overall the condition matches that of a well kept original southern truck. Recent service included fluids shocks hoses belts battery fuel pump fuel tank and tires. The 9inch rear end out back spins a 3.00 gear while the truck rolls on original FoMoCo wheels wrapped in Hankook Radial Tires.
