The Huckster was not a Ford factory body style. It was a conversion, built in the early part of the 20th century by fitting a wooden enclosure to the rear of a vehicle so that a peddler could travel from neighborhood to neighborhood selling fruits, vegetables, and dry goods directly out of the back. They were common sights on American streets through the 1920s and into the 1940s, and very few have survived in this kind of condition.
