The 2003 model year marked Harley-Davidson's 100th anniversary, making bikes from this era a memorable part of the company's history. This Harley-Davidson Softail Deuce FXSTDI adds another appealing detail to that story: it is a one-owner motorcycle showing only 3,661 original miles!
Power comes from Harley's air-cooled 1450cc Twin Cam V-Twin paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and wet multi-disc clutch. Dual chrome exhaust pipes deliver the familiar V-Twin sound, and the black powder-coated engine finish and chrome covers give the drivetrain the classic Harley Softail look.
Silver and Gloss Black paint with pinstriping complements the Deuce's long, low profile. Its stretched fuel tank features a full-length chrome console, while a low-rise handlebar and chrome 41mm fork continue the custom-inspired styling. A 21-inch laced-steel front wheel contrasts with the 17-inch solid-disc rear wheel for one of the Deuce's most recognizable visual signatures.
The steel Softail frame uses dual rear shocks positioned to preserve the clean hardtail-inspired silhouette. Single 292mm disc brakes handle stopping duties up front and rear.
For anyone searching for Harley-Davidson motorcycles for sale or a low-mileage Harley-Davidson Softail, this one-owner Deuce offers an appealing snapshot of the Motor Company's centennial era. With only 3,661 original miles, this Harley stands as a well-preserved example from a significant year in the history of Harley motorcycles.
