1955 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon. Rotisserie restoration with no expense spared and finished in paint code 627 Shadow grey and Coral. Paint is outstanding and chrome and stainless-steel trim is show quality. Virtually no miles since restoration was completed. The underside of the car is finished and just as clean as the top! The car looks mostly stock apart from the Boyd Coddington wheels and slightly lowered stance, but tasteful upgrades have been made to the drivetrain. Under the hood now is an upgraded and rebuilt 350 Chev with a Edelbrock intake and 4-bbl carb. HEI distributor has been added and the starter and alternator are chromed. Billet air-cleaner and valve covers too. Plenty of chrome parts and pieces makes it dazzle when you open the hood! Its equipped with power disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. Power steering makes driving easy. Dual chromed horns sound great and an aluminum rad keeps things cool Its not stock, but every nut and bolt on the car and under the hood is show quality. Dual exhaust exits out of two nice stainless turn downs under the rear bumper. The front bumper sports an overrider bar and the rear has the optional bumperettes. Even the inner fenders are painted as nicely as the top of the car! Moving inside, the choral and grey theme continues with waffle patterned grey vinyl and bel air trim. Low pile grey carpets compliment everything nicely. Chrome ribs hold up the coral headliner and all interior parts and pieces are show quality. A modern chromed tilt steering column has been installed with new billet steering wheel and shifter. Dashboard components and gauges are like new. The car shows 60,000 miles, but that doesnt reflect actual milage. A Retro sound radio fits perfectly into the spot of the original. Below that is an optional tissue dispenser. This one also has the optional clock in-dash ahead of the passenger seat. Modern kick panel speakers in coral are installed too. An original owners manual is still in the glove box! Rear seat and trunk area finishing are also top notch. All new suspension components with 2 drop spindles also went into the car during restoration. The car looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. This is the kind of wagon you could win car shows with, its absolutely that flawless.
