1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible. Rotisserie restored to original a while ago, but very well done and still in remarkable condition. Optioned with the rubber bumperettes out front, gold grille, spinner wheel covers and full continental kit, this is one handsome unit in powder blue with a white powered top and wide white wall tires. Paint is very good and trim and chrome is all excellent. Iconic look with great 50s colors. The interior is well restored in vinyl upholstery and door panels. Carpets arent brand new anymore but certainly not factory originals. Optional clock in the dash and a tissue dispenser hanging below. The Owners manual is still in the glove box. All the gauges and heater in working order. Equipped with a 283 and now sporting a new 4-bbl carb and air cleaner (the originals are in the trunk) and very nicely equipped with power steering and power brakes! The engine bay is neat and tidy and the engine has been well repainted. Correct hoses and hose clamps were used in restoration. Extra parts are in the trunk along with a binder of restoration receipts, service manuals and the best part " full pictures of the restoration of the car with step by step explanations of what was done. Except for the carb, everything else is factory stock. Power routes through a 3-speed on-the-tree manual transmission. The car runs and drives well, just like it left the factory. 47,000 miles on the odometer, but with a restoration and only 5 digits, true milage is unknown. Its quite obvious going through the paperwork this was a well loved car more recently with care and attention. 57s dont come around often! Heres a perfect summer car show cruiser!
