Long-tube Hooker headers feed a full dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and polished chrome tips, while an upgraded MSD digital ignition system and MSD distributor help provide dependable spark. Chrome accessories including the alternator, power-steering pump, and master cylinder/booster add to the detailed engine compartment, along with Moroso valve covers and billet spark plug holders.
Power is sent through a Turbo 400 automatic transmission featuring a chrome transmission/inspection shield and ribbed aluminum transmission pan. Out back, the Chevelle utilizes a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.08 gearing and an upgraded differential carrier. The rear axle has received new pinion and carrier seals, while a new speedometer gear adds to the extensive mechanical refurbishment.
