1985 Pontiac Grand Prix Coupe. Grandmas ride has had a bit of an attitude adjustment! Gone is the anemic 305 and in its place is a LS 5.3 with a 4-bbl carb on top! Gs like hell now. Still backed by a 3-speed automatic. Largely untouched exterior with the exception of the big cowl hood and 5-spoke aluminum wheels with big rubber out back. A sunroof was cut in at somepoint, but its unclear if its recent or completed back in the day. The car shows only 61,000 kms, and although it cant be proven to be the original milage, it would explain why the paint and body is in such good shape still. The interior is also in fantastic condition but has a few modifications from stock. The bench seat is gone and in its place are modern sport buckets out of another car, and a B M ratchet shifter. A few extra gauges have been added along with a modern stereo and speakers in the front door panels. Other than that, the stock carpets, headliner, panels and dash are great! This was an A/C car, but that system is not hooked up to the LS currently. Original owners manual, warranty card, maintenance guide and original bill of sale come the car. It was bought new by A Betty J. Forester in Strathroy Ontario (near London) in 85 for $14,534! She traded in a 78 dodge Monaco for the Pontiac. Options include tinted glass, body side mouldings, front carpet mats, rear defroster, a/c, sport mirrors, accent stripes, cruise control, auto trans, custom steering wheel with tilt, radial tires, lamp group and AM/FM stereo. The car is rust free and in nice shape! True milage with the engine swap is unknown.
