CONDITION
This 1971 Pontiac Trans Am 455 H/O is finished in factory-correct white with blue graphics and a black interior. It is a 4-speed example and is stated to be one of 855 produced. The car underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration, with the body, interior, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, wiring, fuel system, exhaust, trim, and numerous pieces of hardware renewed or restored.
The 455 H/O engine was restored to factory specifications and features a Ram Air 4-bolt-main configuration. The 4-speed transmission was resealed and received replacement bearings, while a new clutch, Hurst Competition shifter, and new linkage were installed. The 12-bolt rear end was restored, and the suspension received new A-arms, control arms, tie-rod ends, leaf springs, bushings, and related components. The brake system received a new master cylinder, proportioning valve, calipers, shields, soft lines, and hard lines, while the fuel system includes a new tank, fuel pump, and gas lines.
The interior was extensively renewed with new upholstery, seat foam, seat rails, carpet, headliner, package tray, center console, steering wheel, gauges, gauge lenses, speakers, door panels, and rear panels. The dash and engine-turned bezel were restored, and the car is equipped with a Bluetooth-capable audio system, 8-track player, and Hurst shifter.
The exterior received new basecoat/clearcoat paint in factory-correct white with new decals, along with new glass, chrome trim, seals, emblems, door hinges, window hardware, and chrome bumper. Structural and body work included a new trunk, trunk drop-offs, inner wheel wells, quarter panels, trunk lip, rear taillight panel, and filler panel. The wheels were restored and balanced and are fitted with new tires and lug nuts. The provided photos show a clean white exterior with blue Trans Am graphics, a prominent 455 H/O hood scoop, and a black bucket-seat interior. This is a comprehensively restored Trans Am with extensive attention given to the mechanical, cosmetic, and interior components.
