We purchased this vehicle from its long-term owner in Indiana, who acquired the car in the late 1990s and owned it for nearly 30 years. After retiring, he decided to part with the car in favor of something newer and a convertible. The car is finished in Black over a Black interior and is powered by its original 3.6L flat-six mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The original Porsche option documentation lists Limited-Slip Differential with ABD, Motor Sound Package, 17-inch Cup Design wheels, full power driver s seat, and Porsche crest wheel caps. Over the years, close to $100,000 was reportedly invested in maintenance and performance upgrades. ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN The engine received extensive top-end work by Rennsport Systems, including renewed piston rings, rod bearings and timing chains, Rennsport-modified cylinder heads, phosphorus-bronze valve guides, 3-angle valve seats, 993 RS hydraulic cams and lifters, racing valve springs, titanium retainers, reworked rocker arms and polished rocker shafts. The ECU was reprogrammed by RS/GIAC, and the car received Redstone Performance Racing exhaust catalysts. The transmission was completely rebuilt and converted to a Rothsport Racing close-ratio gearbox with Guard LSD, along with a 993 RS lightweight flywheel and clutch assembly. The car starts easily, sounds excellent, shifts smoothly through all six gears, and has strong, responsive brakes and clutch engagement. SUSPENSION & BRAKES The suspension has been comprehensively upgraded with Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, H&R adjustable front and rear sway bars, Tarett front and rear drop links, ERP front monoballs, rear spherical bearings, adjustable camber and kinematics links, adjustable toe-steer links, and an ERP rear carriage tilt kit. The braking system received upgraded pads and rotors, stainless-steel braided brake lines and fresh brake fluid. In 2023, Allroad Motorsports serviced the brakes, painted the calipers, replaced the coilovers and motor mounts, and performed additional mechanical service. RS-INSPIRED EXTERIOR & INTERIOR The car features 993 RS-style body panels, ROW/Euro turn signals and stop lamps, an RS Touring steering wheel, 993 RS-style carpet kit and a Safety Devices roll cage. The car rides on factory hollow spoke turbo wheels fitted with like-new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. DOCUMENTED SERVICE HISTORY The extensive records include service and parts invoices dating back to 2005, along with significant work documented through the years. Recent 2023 service at approximately 84,851 miles included brakes, coilovers, motor mounts, A/C belt, battery, oil and transmission fluids, A/C service and suspension work.
