1952 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe 4-dr Sedan. Nicely restored car with a custom color combination new interior and handsome grey paint! Deluxe trim cars with the 2-speed power glide automatic transmission were mandated to have the larger 235 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder engine making 105 hp with a single barrel carburetor. These engines are well known to be well engineered and long lasting. Full pressure oil systems didnt come until 1954 and this one still uses a splash style oil lubrication system. Deluxe trim level meant all the trimmings with exterior chrome and stainless steel, front bumperettes, rear fender skirts and rock guards, rocker trim mouldings, a prominent hood ornament and windshield visor! They grey paint on this car is in good condition but could use a polish. All the chrome is very nice! The interior is fantastic with a new 3-color scheme with Royal blue, white and tan trim. The headliner, carpets, door cards, panels and seats are all new! The dash has been painted to match well. The car has full gauges, clock and am radio all in beautiful shape. The car shows 9,000 miles and we assume thats the milage since restoration, but true milage is unknown. Even the glove box has a light in it " fancy stuff for 1952! An original service manual and advertisement come with the car. Under the hood is neat and tidy and some of the factory chalk marks are still on the underside of the hood. The inline 235 is well restored, painted nicely and looks like new! The car still runs the 6-volt system. The trunk is also well finished with the correct rubber mat, spare tire and jack and tire iron. The automatic makes I easy to drive and cruise around in! Not going to win any races, but the perfect boulevard cruiser with great curb appeal!
