The 440 is one of Mopar’s most respected big block engines, originally known for its massive torque and strong street performance. With the upgrades completed on this engine, it is estimated to produce somewhere in the 425 to 450 horsepower range. The engine compartment is beautifully detailed and presents at a very high level.
Inside, this GTX looks remarkably close to the way it did when it left the dealer in 1967. The factory-style interior is exceptionally clean with virtually no noticeable flaws, right down to the AM radio and period-correct details. Power steering and power brakes add to the comfort and drivability, making this high-performance Mopar much easier to enjoy on today’s roads.
The body, paint, and chrome are absolutely incredible and present at concours level. According to the previous owner, this GTX recently won Best in Show in the Niagara region, and after one walk around the car, it is easy to understand why.
