This meticulously restored 1949 GMC Flareside is ready for the road or serves as the perfect foundation for a custom hot rod project. The rust-free body and frame are in excellent condition, and the fresh dark gray metallic paint enhances the truck’s classic appeal. The bed features a beautifully crafted wood and metal combination that complements the restoration, while the addition of new side mirrors improves driveability.
Under the hood, the rebuilt appearing straight-six engine and transmission are in pristine condition. The truck has also been upgraded with a complete re-wiring and conversion to a 12-volt system, making it road-ready and reliable.
The interior maintains its original dash design, which is stunningly restored. Modern bucket seats and a wooden, carpet covered center console bring a touch practicality to the cabin, making this classic truck both stylish and functional.
For anyone in search of a vintage GMC truck with potential for further customization or ready to drive as-is, this one is a must-see!
