This 1984 Chevrolet C10 Restomod is a highly customized short-bed pickup that blends classic square-body Chevrolet styling with a modern street-truck stance, upgraded comfort, and plenty of big-block attitude. Finished in crisp white with custom red, gray, and black graphics, this C10 has been built with details throughout rather than simply lowered and fitted with wheels.
Under the hood sits a Chevrolet 396 big-block V8, dressed with a custom 396 air cleaner, black valve covers, polished intake components, braided lines, and a clean traditional carbureted setup. The engine is backed by an automatic transmission and benefits from an aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. The engine compartment retains a clean street-oriented appearance while keeping the mechanical package straightforward and serviceable.
One of the defining features of this truck is its Air Lift Performance air suspension. A digital Air Lift controller inside the cab provides individual control of the suspension, while an onboard air tank and dual compressors are neatly mounted at the front of the bed. The system allows the truck to sit extremely low when parked while giving the driver the ability to raise the ride height as needed.
The stance is finished with a set of large 22-inch US Mags wheels featuring a dark gray finish and red outer accents that coordinate with the truck's graphics and interior. The staggered tire setup consists of 255/30ZR22 tires up front and 285/30ZR22 tires in the rear. Disc brakes with red-finished calipers are visible behind the wheels.
The exterior keeps the unmistakable 1981-1987 square-body profile while adding a number of tasteful custom touches. Up front is a full-width billet-style grille, modern rectangular headlights, and a smoothed gray front bumper. The white paint is accented by hand-style pinstriping on the hood and tailgate along with red, gray, and black graphics running down the sides. A 396 badge appears on the front fenders, while the rear features a custom Chevrolet tailgate panel. A black tonneau cover finishes the bed area.
Inside, the factory truck character has been transformed with a custom red and black cabin. Red bucket seats with headrests are paired with matching red carpeting and seat belts, while a custom center console provides storage and dual cupholders. Additional pinstriping carries the exterior theme inside the truck.
The dash has been updated with a digital gauge cluster, while a custom steering wheel and tall floor-mounted automatic shifter contribute to the street-truck feel. Entertainment is handled by a JVC KD-X560BT audio system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX capability, along with upgraded speakers, a Speed Series subwoofer, and an adjustable bass controller.
The bed is finished with a durable spray-in bedliner, and the air-management hardware has been positioned against the front wall to preserve usable cargo space.
With its 396 big block, air-ride suspension, staggered 22-inch US Mags, custom red interior, upgraded audio, air conditioning and unmistakable laid-out stance, this 1984 Chevrolet C10 is a well-executed square-body restomod built to stand apart at shows, cruise nights, or simply rolling down the street.
