GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this beautiful 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet for your consideration. Powered by a 3.4L flat-six with the IMS bearing addressed, this 911 sends power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The 996-generation 911 delivers the engaging driving experience Porsche has been known for for decades, making this Cabriolet equally enjoyable on a winding road, a weekend cruise, or as a unique addition to your daily driving routine.
Finished in iconic Guards Red over a Black leather interior, this 911 has the classic Porsche color combination that continues to turn heads. The exterior is complemented by a Black power soft top and 10-spoke wheels, giving the car a timeless and sporty appearance. Drop the top and enjoy open-air motoring, or raise it when you need protection from the elements.
Inside, the Black leather cabin is accented by faux carbon fiber trim and equipped with an aftermarket single-DIN radio and Rockford Fosgate audio system. The 911 combines its driver-focused character with the comfort and amenities expected from a modern sports car of its era.
The Type 996 represented a major turning point for the Porsche 911, introducing water-cooled flat-six power and an extensively redesigned body. Its styling, penned by Pinky Lai, shared visual cues with the Boxster and gave the 911 a distinctly modern appearance while retaining the unmistakable character of the marque.
This example is accompanied by a substantial collection of service records dating back many years, providing valuable documentation of its maintenance history. With its iconic Guards Red exterior, 6-speed manual transmission, addressed IMS bearing, and open-air Cabriolet configuration, this 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera is an exciting example of the 996 generation.
