The ""Firebird"" model would be manufactured and sold under Pontiac from 1967 through 2002 until Pontiac was shuttered under GM's management. It was a pony car designed to compete with the Ford Mustang/Cougar. It would be built in five different generations with multiple mid generation face-lifts and a multitude of power train options. It would also survive the end of the muscle car wars, the fuel crisis of the 70's and the federal government on their now control over the auto industry when it would come to safety and fuel regulations. Nonetheless the Firebird/Camaro will go on to live in automotive history and will be loved for a long time. This particular car has traveled just over 11,000 miles since new and has remained in the same area since new with the first owner having this car just up unitl this year. This car has always been garaged and shows extremely well with no rust anywhere, the interior is like new with the rest of the car completely unmolested. It starts, runs and drives like new with everything in working order. The power top is in nice shape and operates as it should. This would make a great collector piece or use it and drive it knowing you have many more fun miles. We welcome any questions or inpsections here in our Traverse City location.
