Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present 1970 Plymouth Cuda Convertible. Few cars capture the spirit of the classic American muscle car era quite like the Cuda, and the convertible body style adds another level of presence to this already iconic Plymouth. Finished in maroon with a contrasting black hood, this Cuda has the unmistakable look of a muscle car from an era when bold colors, aggressive styling, and V8 performance ruled the road.
Power is sent through a 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission, with both the transmission and engine having less than 5,000 miles since being rebuilt. The combination gives this Cuda the classic automatic muscle car experience, while power steering and power brakes add some welcome convenience behind the wheel.
Inside, the white vinyl interior provides a sharp contrast to the maroon exterior and coordinates with the white automatic convertible top. Lower the top, settle into the white interior, and the Cuda takes on an entirely different personality, bringing back the open-air cruising experience that made muscle car convertibles so special.
The cabin also includes an AM/FM radio and CD player, giving you a blend of classic-car atmosphere and modern-day entertainment. With the top up or down, the combination of the maroon exterior, black hood, and white interior and convertible top gives this Plymouth a distinctive presentation that is hard to overlook.
The 1970 Plymouth Cuda came from one of the most memorable periods in American automotive history, when Plymouth was building some of the most recognizable performance cars of the era. Today, the Cuda name remains closely associated with that golden age of muscle cars, and a convertible example brings together the styling, personality, and open-air character that enthusiasts continue to appreciate.
