1984 Oldsmobile 98 Regency Brougham Sedan. Very well kept and a Saskatchewan car since new! The 98 was the top model, and this is the top trim line within the 98 designation, meaning apart from a few options, this is as nice as it gets from Olds in 84! Still a full frame RWD sedan powered by an Olds 307 V8 with 4-bbl carb ad 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission. This one runs exceptionally well and starts up easy. It shows 15,000 kms, but weve been told the odometer has rolled over once. With only 5 digits theres no exact proof, but weve been assured thats the milage. Its evident by just how nice the car is. Factory original paint is in very good condition with very few blemishes anywhere. Its a rust-free car and the original vinyl top is still flawless. Factory pinstriping still great too! The wire wheel covers show no wear either. Just one small chip in the windshield. Exterior options include cornering lamps, fender skirts a power antenna (not working), and coach lights on the B-pillar between the doors. Chrome and stainless trim is all excellent. Moving inside youll find one of the nicest interiors of the 80s. Its like an English manor house on wheels. Lots of simulated wood trim and this car is upholstered in crushed velvet. It makes you want to simply cuddle up and have a nap. The seats are overstuffed and soft as a 5-star hotel bed. Upholstery and extra deep pile blue carpets have also just been shampooed. The headliner has not fallen down and still perfect condition. No cracks or scratches in any of the plastics. Options galore on this one too. Power windows, Power locks, Tilt and telescopic steering wheel, 8-way power drivers seat and 10-way power passenger seat. Both front and rear bench seats have fold down armrests. Theres cruise control, delay wipers, Automatic A/C (not charged), a clock that still ticking, AM/FM cassette and rear window defroster. Being the 98, the car has the longest wheelbase available at the time and the rear seat legroom is limousine like. The trunk is all finished in carpet and has the original rubber mat and a spare tire. The Oldsmobile complimentary tape cartridge is even still included with the car! A recent detail has the car looking great and its still scheduled for a paint polish. Condition is outstanding on this one despite 115,000 kms. Topping it all off is just how nicely the car drives. You wont find a more luxurious, plusher or more serene ride from any car around. Its well known that Cadillac came in second to this car for ride quality in the 80s. This one was king of the hill. Despite being a huge car, fuel milage is still reasonable, but dont expect to win any races with the 307. Its meant for long distance highway cruising in the utmost comfort and luxury.
