Factory 440-6 Pac, 4 speed Dana Track Pak with air grabber hood. This is an original un-restored, all numbers matching GTX, that SMG purchased nearly 10 years ago and put away in storage. SMG recently pulled it from storage and is starting a staged restoration of the car this winter. Currently engine and transmission have been pulled. Engine was running with excellent compression so it will be inspected for cylinder wear. A new camshaft kit will be installed, and the heads re-worked for maximum performance. The drive train will be re-installed with all new clutch assembly, factory exhaust manifolds and stock exhaust. Prior to drive train going back in, the engine bay will be fully restored making the balance of the restoration much easier. The interior is in good condition but will need new seat covers and headliner. This GTX was originally a console bucket seat car. Ready for sale April 2023 needing completion of the body, paint and interior.
