This Resto Mod is a "one-of-a kind" highly modified Convertible of its type. Many of the modifications are not usually found on this body style. that is what makes this vehicle "special". the car has all of the special requirements required by the owner/builder who always used the best of the best parts, components and craftsmanship.

The engine is a freshly rebuilt 428 cubic inch Ford "FE" big block. The engine has three two barrel Holly carburetors which were all new when this car was built. The special air cleaner is fabricated for the three deuces and has matching finned details milled into the cast aluminum and is chrome plated like the valve covers which are also finned aluminum and chrome plated. (The car has not been driven too much since built). The engine has been painted the owner's favorite color of Red urethane which is a private mix. the engine has polished billet aluminum accessory drive brackets that operate using a single serpentine belt system. The alternator, power steering pump and A/C compressor are either polished aluminum or chrome plated. All power steering fluid lines and the engine fuel lines are all stainless steel braided and Teflon lined hoses that use AN fittings that attach using threaded
The engine compartment is a work of art and has a completely smooth firewall and custom inner fender panels that hide all the plumbing and wiring for the engine and forward lamp harness etc. The radiator support also has a custom panel built that locates the billet hood latch. The radiator is an aluminum assembly with an electric fan. The underside of the hood is also lined with a smooth piece of sheet metal that hides the unfavorable appearance of the hood structure. the only thing that is attached to the underside of the hood is the hood striker assembly which is polished billet aluminum "custom" assembly. the hood also has very unique polished billet hood hinges that mount directly the inner fender panels and look very expensive and well engineered.
